VibeSell ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines how we handle data to provide our AI-powered resale assistance.
We prioritize data minimization, collecting only what is necessary to facilitate the listing process and manage usage limits.
Product Images: Images you capture are processed by AI to generate titles and descriptions. These images are used for analysis and are not stored on our servers.
Account Identifiers: We use anonymous authentication to assign your device a unique identifier. This allows us to maintain your generation quota and subscription status without requiring personal details like your name or email.
Usage Metadata: We record the number of listings generated to enforce weekly limits. To ensure accuracy, the App verifies the current time using standard network headers.
User Feedback & Support Data: If you choose to submit feedback through the App, we collect the message content you provide. To assist with troubleshooting and app optimization, we also automatically collect certain technical metadata associated with your feedback, including your device's Operating System (OS) version and App version.
Subscription Data: Purchase and subscription status are managed through RevenueCat.
To provide our core services, we share specific data with the following trusted providers:
Google Firebase: Powers the backend infrastructure and secure data routing.
Google Gemini: Processes images and text to generate product insights and marketplace descriptions.
RevenueCat: Manages your premium access and subscription lifecycle.
We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data and prevent unauthorized access to our services. This includes secure communication protocols and server-side validation of all app requests. Feedback submissions are stored in a secure database accessible only to authorized developers for the purpose of improving the App.
VibeSell is designed so that your usage remains private and anonymous.
No Personally Identifiable Information (PII): We do not collect or store your name, email, or phone number. Because the data stored in our database (unique identifier, quota counts, and feedback) is anonymous, it cannot be linked to your real-world identity.
Local Data Management: Your item history and preferences are stored locally on your device. You can clear this data at any time by uninstalling the App.
Data Persistence: Because no personal accounts are created, uninstalling the App effectively ends our data relationship with you. We do not maintain records that would allow us to identify a specific former user. Feedback submitted remains in our records anonymously to help us prevent recurring technical issues, but is not linked to any personal identity.
